Sudokubot lets you photograph or select a picture of a printed Sudoku puzzle, automatically recognizes the digits, and solves it — all on your device.
The app misreads some digits. Recognition works best with a well-lit, flat, non-glare photo taken straight-on. Use the numpad on the review screen to fix any incorrect cells before solving.
The camera or photo picker won't open. Check that Sudokubot has Camera and Photo Library permission under Settings → Sudokubot on your device.

Sudokubot ("the app") is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app touches and, just as importantly, what it does not do with it.
Sudokubot does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It has no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Everything the app does happens locally on your device.
Sudokubot requests access to your Camera and Photo Library solely to let you capture or select an image of a printed Sudoku puzzle. That image is processed on-device to recognize the puzzle's digits and is never uploaded, saved to your photo library, or shared with anyone — it exists only transiently in memory while the app is solving your puzzle.
If you choose to save a solved puzzle to your archive, the app stores only the puzzle's solution, hints, your notes, and a timestamp in a local file on your device. This data:
Sudokubot does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services, and makes no network requests of any kind.
Sudokubot does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information from any user.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
